I am a thirty-year-old mother to two boys and over the past three years I have been married to a man I discovered was an alcoholic after we had been married almost a year. I have had many painful times over the past three years but I refuse to allow his alcoholism and the consequences of such effect me as a person. I use LTMAH as my way of letting everything out. It's all the things I've never been able to say to my AH (Alcoholic Husband). I am an Army Veteran and will be using my GI-Bill to go back to school full-time in August of 2018 for my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Keeping busy helps me stay focused on my positive life changing goals and better my boys' and my life. No alcoholic is the same. I realize in many ways my situation with my AH is better than others out there and in some cases worse.
